When is it?
Brake Safety Week will take place between September 15 and 21, 2019, across North America.
What do I need to know?
Enforcement officials will conduct roadside safety inspections on commercial motor vehicles throughout North America. Vehicles with critical brake violations or other vehicle inspection violations will be restricted from travelling until those violations are corrected. These inspections will be carried out randomly. That means everyone should be ready.
What should I do?
Prevention is key to avoid any driving restrictions. We encourage you to get your trucks and trailers inspected, whether they are from your fleet or that of Location Canvec.
